The forehead and the eyebrows are affected by the aging process resulting horizontal forehead lines and dropping of the eyebrow. Descent of the eyebrows produces a more tired look and further exaggerates the excess skin in the upper eyelids. An eyebrow lift reproduces a younger, refreshed appearance. The operation is performed using 'key hole' surgery (Endoscopic technique) by making small incisions in the scalp which are kept hidden within the hair. Using these incisions the muscles in the forehead are released and the forehead skin advanced towards the scalp. It may be necessary to combine an eyebrow lift with an upper eyelid blephroplasty to achieve the desired look to the eyes.
